This is probably not news to those of you who are familiar with ECM Records, but “Jasmine” can be ordered directly from ecmrecords.com. Excerpt from their FAQ:

“You are on the web site of ECM Records in Munich, the only address that can supply a fully comprehensive stock of currently available ECM, ECM New Series, Japo, Watt, XtraWatt, JCOA and Carmo titles.

To order, click on the “Order” link on the catalogue page of the CD you’d like to buy.

If you prefer, you can find “brick and mortar” retailers via our distributors worldwide. Visit their web sites or email them for information about local purchasing options.”

You can also find a list of “digital platforms and portals” in their FAQ. “Of these services, HDtracks and Qobuz offer ECM music in ‘lossless’ formats.” “Jasmine” is already available from Qobuz, for example (320 kbps MP3s, lossless 16-bit / 44.1 KHz, and high-definition 24-bit / 44.1 KHz).

Update (May 15, 2010). According to ECM Records USA, Amazon and iTunes are the “recommended” online stores to pre-order “Jasmine” in the US, not iclassics.com.
