I’m a little late on this (this has already been discussed on the Keith Jarrett Yahoo! Music Group, as well as on KeithJarrett.it). Anyway, the musicians among you might be interested in “Keith Jarrett’s Transformation of Standard Tunes: Theory, Analysis and Pedagogy”, a book written by Dariusz Terefenko and published on March 11, 2009 by VDM Verlag. It’s apparently very technical, so it’s probably not for everybody.

Thanks to Peter for the information. Sveriges Radio P1, a Swedish radio channel, recently broadcast a program about “The Köln Concert” entitled “Det ospelbara pianot”. It’s in Swedish, but there are also some parts in English (e.g. Vera Brandes talking about what happened before the concert). The program is available for download in MP3 format.
Choir seats still available for London concert
Thanks to Iain for letting me know that choir seats for the trio concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London on July 25, 2009 are still available from Southbank Centre (for 45 British Pounds).
Tickets for the concert in Newark available
According to Dan on the keithjarrett Yahoo! Group, tickets for the concert at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on November 20, 2009 are now available to the general public.
Solo concert at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels on October 9, 2009
According to De Standaard and Nieuwsblad, Keith Jarrett will play a solo concert at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels on October 9, 2009. Tickets will cost from 40 EUR to 100 EUR and will be available from Bozar Music. Update: tickets can already be ordered by phone (thanks Matthias!).
