I have been considering transcribing/arranging a short Keith Jarrett piece for my a cappella group. The piece would be arranged TTBB, or in other words, two tenor parts, a baritone part, and a bass part. There are many songs I have thought of as possible to arrange, but the only issue is range for the singers. The bass' range can go down to the second d# below middle c, the baritones could produce the second g natural below middle c, second tenors could go up to about an a natural above middle c, and the first tenors could do a c above middle c. The pieces I have considered most so far are the Tokyo encore from the Sun Bear concerts and My Song. Does anyone have any ideas for a different or better piece to arrange?
